A rare vintage William Spratling necklace in an interlocking spirals motif. The necklace measures 22” in total length and weighs 68 grams. It is stamped on the clasp with markings dating it to the 1951 – 1956 period, including the Mexican government’s eagle stamp with the number “30” identifying Spratling from 1951 – 1965, and the “WS” stamp used by Spratling from 1951 – 1956. The necklace is in very good condition, with only minor wear consistent with its age.
