This rare Danish Modern swag lamp is in excellent vintage condition and is functioning perfectly. The wood cage consists of eight interconnected segments with a round brass detail accentuating each joint. We believe the wood is solid walnut. The globe cap and the securing nut appear to be solid brass”,” while the lamp’s stem and finial are plated metal. The lamp is outfitted with an approximately 11′ brass chain”,” which has developed an attractive patina over the years. There is an additional 11′ of cord”,” making a total of approximately 22′ from lamp to outlet. The lamp measures 13-1/2” in diameter”,” and 15” including the finial. The acrylic globe is 6” in diameter and may have replaced a glass globe at some point. Identical glass replacement globes are readily available. The lamp’s cage and stem has a very few extremely minor imperfections which are consistent with its age and only visible on close inspection.
